Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and flexible On-Call Substitute Educator to join our team. This position supports classrooms across both of our locations as needed. Ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well in a team, and is confident stepping into different age groups.

Duties & Qualifications

- Follow daily schedules and classroom routines
- Assist with activities, transitions, meals, and outdoor play
- Maintain a positive, nurturing workplace
- Communicate professionally with staff and families
- Follow licensing regulations and centre policies
- Valid ECE, ECEA, or Responsible Adult certification (or working toward)
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Flexible availability

Skills





- Strong background in childcare, early childhood education, or related fields
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or in special education programs
- Excellent communication skills to engage children, parents, and team members effectively
- Organizational skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and classroom management
- Time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day
- Leadership qualities to guide classroom activities and support team collaboration
- Writing skills for documentation and parent communication
