Are you outgoing, driven, and comfortable approaching new customers to build business relationships? We're looking for an Entry-Level Outside Sales Representative who enjoys working with people, identifying current opportunities, and helping customers find the right products for their business.

At Edmonton Nut & Bolt, you'll join a supportive team and have the prospect to develop your sales career while working directly with business customers across your assigned territory.

This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in sales or customer service. Experience in industrial supplies is an asset, but not required. We're looking for someone who is confident initiating conversations, developing customer relationships, and actively pursuing new business.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with existing business customers to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities.
- Proactively identify and contact potential new customers through cold calling, prospecting, and in-person visits.
- Introduce our products and services to businesses and communicate how our product lines can meet their needs.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline by following up on leads, contacting prospective customers, and developing new accounts.
- Prepare quotes, estimates, sales contracts, and order documentation, including pricing, terms, and delivery information.
- Process customer orders, coordinate deliveries, and provide ongoing support after the sale.
- Monitor product developments, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate records, sales reports, and company vehicle logs, and arrange for vehicle maintenance as needed.

Working Conditions

- Travel within an assigned sales territory using a company vehicle.

Qualifications

- Clean drivers abstract and valid driver’s license is required
- Experience in customer-facing sales and services
- An interest in business-to-business (B2B) sales and the ability to confidently approach and communicate with new customers.
- Willingness to make cold calls, conduct in-person prospecting, and develop new business relationships.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- A self-motivated, proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
- Good organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
