S&R; Trucking is a Canadian asset-based carrier headquartered in Kleinburg (Vaughan), Ontario, offering full truckload, LTL, cross-border, and intermodal solutions. As a CIFFA member, we serve freight forwarders, NVOCCs, customs brokers, and importers/exporters across North America.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive strategic, contract-based business growth for S&R; Trucking. This is a senior field-sales role focused on building long-term client partnerships and winning high-volume freight contracts across our service network.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, target, and close new contract-based business opportunities with shippers, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, and logistics managers
- - Conduct face-to-face client meetings, presentations, and site visits to develop and strengthen relationships

- - Negotiate multi-lane transportation contracts and service agreements

- - Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan with quarterly revenue targets

- - Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to deliver competitive, profitable proposals





- - Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate forecasting using CRM tools

- - Represent S&R; Trucking at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions

- - Provide ongoing account management to ensure client retention and satisfaction

Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of outside sales experience in asset-based trucking or transportation
- - Proven track record of winning and growing contract freight accounts

- - Strong network of shipper and logistics decision-maker contacts in Canada and/or cross-border markets

- - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

- - Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently

- - Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle required
