Become a crucial part of Christian Faith Outreach Centre's overnight team as a Shelter Care Support Member. This part time position focuses on providing compassionate care for homeless individuals in a trauma-informed environment. The role is centered around assisting patrons at shelter facilities in Durham Region.

You will work flexible hours, participate in team meetings, and provide critical support for individuals facing homelessness. Your experience with trauma-informed care and excellent communication skills will help you thrive in this position. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patrons with personal hygiene and shelter maintenance
- Complete daily data entry and administrative duties
- Help promote a protected, patron focused environment
- Support life skills development and crisis resolution
- Uphold safety protocols and health standards Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a health-related field
- Minimum 6 months experience in support services
- Strong knowledge of harm reduction strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Current certifications in CPR/First Aid Support vulnerable communities in Durham Region with compassion and care at CFOC-Doors of Compassion.
