Be Part of a Team That's Making a Difference in People's Lives!

Movimento Fitness is an award-winning, locally owned personal training studio in St. Albert. Since 2010, we’ve been helping adults in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond improve their strength, health, and confidence so they can continue enjoying the things they love.

We’re looking for an exceptional Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team!

At Movimento Fitness, we take pride in providing a welcoming, personalized, and professional experience for every member. We get to know our members personally, and our administrative team plays an important role in making sure everyone feels valued, supported, and taken care of.

We’re looking for someone who is mature, dependable, highly organized, and genuinely enjoys working with people. Someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the little details, and approaches their responsibilities with professionalism and care.

The ideal candidate is confident working independently, communicates exceptionally well, and enjoys being part of a supportive team. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities, demonstrates good judgment, and is genuinely interested in becoming a valued, long-term member of our team.

Current Available Opportunity:

We are currently looking for one or two exceptional individuals to join our administrative team at Movimento Fitness in St. Albert.

Available Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Saturday: 8:15 AM – 12:15 PM

These are consistent, regularly scheduled shifts, totalling up to 20 hours per week.

We are open to hiring one individual to cover the full schedule or two individuals to share these shifts, depending on availability and the right fit for our team.

Whether you’re looking for a few consistent shifts each week or a part-time position with more hours, we encourage you to apply.

Please indicate your availability when applying.

As Part of Our Movimento Fitness Team, You Will:

- Welcome and interact with members, creating a friendly, positive, and skilled experience every time they visit.
- Build genuine relationships with our members and help them feel comfortable, valued, and well taken care of.
- Manage member appointments, scheduling, and changes to their training sessions.

- Respond to member questions and requests professionally through phone, email, and in-person conversations.
- Maintain accurate and organized member records, files, and information within our management software.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, attendance tracking, billing-related administration, and reporting.
- Complete recurring daily, weekly, and monthly administrative responsibilities accurately and on time.
- Assist with ordering supplies, managing inventory, and other general office responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with our coaching and administrative teams to ensure a seamless member experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and reception environment.
- Take initiative in identifying and addressing issues before they become problems.
- Contribute to our culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Our members are primarily adults in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond. Many have been with us for years, and the relationships we build with them are an important part of what makes Movimento special.
