Vin Room West, located in the neighborhood of West Springs is hiring a part time bartender to join their team. Must be willing to work weekends, able to multi task, has a knowledge of cocktails and is able to work in a fast paced workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Drink Preparation: Craft classic cocktails, pour beers, decant wines, and mix custom beverages according to recipes and speed requirements.
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, make menu recommendations, build rapport with regulars, and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Legal Compliance: Verify customer identification and age, monitor guest consumption, and follow state and local liquor laws.
- Payments and POS: Process cash, credit, and mobile payments through the Point of Sale (POS) system while managing multiple open tabs and balancing cash drawers.
- Bar Operations: Restock liquor, beer, wine, ice, and garnishes, wash glassware, and perform opening and closing side work
