We are seeking one part-time clinical assistant to join our busy clinic in Guelph.

Must Be Available For The Following Shifts

Mondays: 4:15pm - 8:15pm

Wednesdays: 8:15 am-12:15pm

Other shifts as needed (vacation time, sick days, etc).

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning and setup of the treatment rooms, sterilization of instruments, and maintaining Podiatric equipment
- Facilitating clinic work flow by bringing patients to rooms and communicating with practitioners and other staff members
- Assisting with therapeutic modalities (Shockwave, Laser, Ultrasound)
- Assisting with the proper set up of rooms for routine and surgical procedures
- Maintaining and updating patient records, scanning documents into patient files
- Receiving incoming shipments
- May assist with answering the phones and emails, confirming next-day appointments
- May assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining practitioner schedules
- May assist with managing billing to patients and their insurance companies
- Greeting and signing in patients when they enter the clinic
- May assist with answering the phones and emails, confirming next-day appointments




- Other duties as required

Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to perform a wide variety of duties
- Proficient in computer and technology use including Microsoft Office, emails, scanners, printers, etc.

Experience and/or education in medical office assistant roles would be preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
