Part-Time Dishwasher / Prep Cook The Excellent Canadian Poutinerie

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Primarily evening shifts, typically 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with occasional longer shifts from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and some weekends.

The Outstanding Canadian Poutinerie is looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to join our kitchen team as a part-time Dishwasher / Prep Cook.

This position focuses on managing our backroom operations, including ingredient preparation, sauce production, dishwashing, cleaning, and keeping the kitchen stocked and organized.

You'll also assist our front-line kitchen team during busy periods to help keep orders moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients, toppings, sauces, and other menu items following our recipes and procedures.
- Wash dishes, utensils, containers, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the backroom clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift.
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation.
- Assist with cooking, food assembly, and other kitchen duties during busy periods.
- Complete daily preparation and cleaning tasks.




- Work independently while supporting the rest of the kitchen team.
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards.

- A team player willing to help wherever needed.
- Consistent evening availability, including some weekends.
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but we're willing to train the right person.

Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position with primarily evening shifts. Most shifts run from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with occasional shifts starting as early as 2:00 PM depending on business needs.

We're looking for someone with consistent evening availability and the ability to work some weekends.
