Property Partners Contracting is looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated Part-Time Handyman / Handywoman to join our growing property maintenance team.

We provide maintenance, repairs, renovations, and property support services to residential and commercial properties throughout Greater Victoria.

We are seeking someone who is versatile, takes pride in their workmanship, and can confidently complete a variety of maintenance and repair tasks with minimal supervision.

This position is ideal for someone looking for adaptable part-time work, with the potential for additional hours as our company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general property maintenance and repairs.
- Complete drywall patching, sanding, and painting.
- Repair and install doors, locks, handles, hinges, and hardware.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, and drain maintenance.
- Install shelving, blinds, fixtures, and other household items.
- Complete minor carpentry, trim, and baseboard repairs.
- Assist with appliance installation and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform minor flooring, tile, and caulking repairs.
- Assist with rental unit turnovers and move-out repairs.
- Identify maintenance issues and report recommended repairs.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Document completed work with photos and detailed job notes.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, property managers, and team members.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance, renovations, construction, or handyman services preferred.




- Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically capable of performing general maintenance duties.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver's licence preferred.
- Reliable transportation is an asset.
- Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling, communication, and job documentation.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional when working in occupied residential buildings.
