CG Equipment has been a heavy equipment dealer in southern Ontario for more than 60 years. We sell, rent and service Develon, Fuchs, Prinoth and more. We're hiring a parts counter person at our Exeter branch to keep customers and our service shop supplied.

What you'll do

- Serve walk-in, phone and email customers, and look up, quote and sell parts
- Build and crimp hydraulic hoses to spec for customers and our shop
- Pull and stage parts for our technicians and field service trucks
- Order stock and special-order parts from our manufacturers
- Receive, check in and put away shipments, and handle returns and warranty parts
- Ship parts out and arrange courier pickups
- Keep the counter and warehouse clean, organized and accurate, including cycle counts

What you need

- Parts counter experience in heavy equipment, agriculture, truck or automotive, or mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn
- The ability to build hydraulic hoses: measuring, cutting, skiving, crimping and matching fittings




- A 433A Parts Technician licence is an asset
- Positive computer skills (dealer system experience is an asset)
- Strong customer service and phone skills
- Organization and attention to detail
- A valid driver's license (a forklift ticket is an asset)
- The ability to lift 50 lbs

What we offer

- $25 to $30/hr, based on experience
- Overtime after 44 hours
