About the Role

Reporting to: Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play an important role in the daily operations of our pharmacy. You will help ensure a smooth and efficient workflow while delivering excellent customer service and supporting our commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist with prescription processing and verify prescription information for accuracy, escalating discrepancies to the pharmacist as appropriate.
- Support the accurate and timely preparation and dispensing of medications under the pharmacist’s supervision.
- Process customer pickups and ensure prescriptions are ready for collection.




- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date patient and prescription records.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including stock replenishment and organization.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment.
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy while maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Previous pharmacy experience is required.




- At least one year of pharmacy experience is required; two years or more is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A commitment to patient confidentiality, accuracy, and professional conduct.

Location and Availability This is an in-person position at our pharmacy in Aldergrove, BC (V4W 3R9). Weekday availability is required.

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Aldergrove or plan to relocate before starting work.
