Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting pharmacists in daily operations, assisting with patient care, and ensuring smooth pharmacy functions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and inventory management
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and guiding patients on medication usage
- Help process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized records of medication stock and patient information
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the pharmacy setting
- Handle basic customer service duties, including greeting patients and addressing their inquiries





Requirements

- Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is preferred
- Prior experience with Kroll pharmacy software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Experience in patient care settings is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward patients
- Ability to work flexible hours on a part-time basis, including Saturdays.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks and health screenings necessary for healthcare roles

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
