Revival Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Revival Pharmacy in Regina, located at 1168 Albert Street, SK S4R 2R1.

Patient-Focused Care Responsibilities:

Support pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care

Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner

Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician

Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols

Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits

Independent complex orders, address insurance claims and billing issues, flag concerns to pharmacists, and ensure accurate paperwork submission.

Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste according to regulations

Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning,



and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers

Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to thrive in a team environment

Robust organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience in advanced skills (e.g., Compounding, compliance packaging, OAT).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software; KROLL Software is an asset.

Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers

Willingness to work flexible hours, including early morning.

Schedule

5-16 hours per week. (TBD) Seasonal Hiring The store is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
