Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting licensed physiotherapists in delivering effective patient care and rehabilitation services. Responsibilities

- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions
- Support patients with exercises, mobility, and daily activities under supervision
- Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the physiotherapist
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of treatment areas in compliance with hospital protocols




- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment exercises and care routines
- Adhere to all medical safety standards, including infection control procedures

Skills

- Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care procedures and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient comfort and recovery
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Organizational skills to manage multiple patients and documentation efficiently

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
