Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Piano Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in teaching piano and a genuine interest in fostering students’ musical development. This role involves working with students of various ages, including children, and creating engaging, personalized lessons that inspire a love for music.

The Piano

Instructor will contribute to a positive learning environment, helping students achieve their musical goals while developing their skills and confidence.

Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality piano lessons tailored to each student’s skill level and learning style
- Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate foundational techniques, music theory, and performance skills
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to motivate students of all ages
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, or exams as appropriate




- Maintain a safe and organized teaching environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching techniques and musical expertise

Requirements

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching piano, with a strong understanding of pedagogical methods
- Prior experience working with children is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills and patience when working with students of varying ages and skill levels
- A background in classroom experience or related educational settings is preferred
- Passion for music education and inspiring students to develop their musical talents

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
