The Next BIG Thing

Scarborough

About Us For over 20 years, our dental clinic has been a trusted cornerstone of oral health in the Scarborough community. Built on strong patient relationships, clinical excellence, and compassionate care, we are entering an exciting phase of strategic growth and community outreach.

As Scarborough’s vibrant neighbourhood continues to evolve, we are expanding our services to better serve our wonderfully diverse patient base. Behind our clinic stands a phenomenal management team, offering robust support, ongoing professional development, and a positive, collaborative environment where our staff thrives.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Practice Manager who embodies a “builder” mindset.

If you are a proactive go-getter who excels at optimizing clinic workflows, delivering an exceptional patient experience, and leading a high-performing team, this is your opportunity to take the reins of an established practice and elevate it to recent heights.

Key Responsibilities

- Operational Leadership & Practice Growth: Oversee daily clinic operations, streamline administrative workflows, and collaborate with upper management to execute growth strategies.
- Patient Experience: Act as the champion for patient satisfaction, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and high-touch experience from first contact to follow-up care.
- Smart Schedule Management: Optimize practice scheduling to maximize provider efficiency, manage patient flow, and reduce drop-offs or unconfirmed appointments.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: Lead, support, and monitor the AR function—overseeing insurance claims submission, patient billing, pre-determinations,

and aged collection follow-ups.
- Team Management & Culture: Support, mentor, and motivate administrative staff to foster a positive, accountable, and supportive team environment.
- Community Engagement: Assist in tailoring patient communication and services to reflect and connect with Scarborough’s culturally diverse demographic.

What We Are Looking For

- Dental Experience: Minimum 3+ years of administrative or leadership experience in a Canadian dental clinic.
- Proven Track Record: Solid experience in managing dental clinic operations, schedule building/optimization, and AR oversight.
- Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin is strongly preferred to support our growing patient base.
- The "Builder" Mentality: Proactive, self-motivated, and energized by solving problems and driving continuous improvement.
- Communication & Tech Savvy: Robust interpersonal skills with proficiency in standard Dental Practice Management Software (e.g., Paradigm, Abeldent, Tracker, or similar).
- Flexibility: Available to work across our operational hours (clinic is open 6 days a week).

What We Offer

- Competitive Compensation: Highly competitive salary package reflective of your skills and experience.
- Phenomenal Support & Training: Comprehensive onboarding, leadership mentoring, and continuous support from management.
- Stable, Established Practice: The security and reputation of a 20+ year community clinic combined with the excitement of growth.
- Great Work Culture: A modern, inclusive, and supportive team culture that values long-term talent and celebrates success.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
