Align Mortgage Corporation is looking for an experienced mortgage professional with established relationships in private lending and the mortgage industry to expand our investor network and help fund more of the opportunities already coming through our business.

We have an existing mortgage pipeline, broker relationships, and internal underwriting and administration support. Your focus will be developing additional investor relationships and arranging funding for suitable, internally approved opportunities that are not being accommodated by our existing investor book.

You will not be starting with an empty pipeline. The chance is to build new investor relationships around existing deal flow while helping us increase the proportion of mortgage opportunities that reach funding.

The role

You will be responsible for:

- Developing and managing private-lender and investor relationships, understanding their lending criteria, investment objectives, available capital and risk tolerance.
- Presenting suitable mortgage opportunities, clearly explaining the borrower, property, security position, repayment strategy, terms and material risks.
- Coordinating investor due diligence, Suitability and documentation, including required disclosures, acknowledgements and signatures, with appropriate broker review.
- Working with underwriting, closing and administration teams to move approved placements through to funding and support ongoing investor relationships.




- Maintaining an active investor pipeline, tracking available capital, funding preferences and placement activity.

Our internal underwriting team retains responsibility for credit approval, structure and pricing. Your role is to develop relationships, identify appropriate funding matches and bring suitable transactions to completion. Who we’re looking for An experienced mortgage professional who brings deep industry relationships, sound credit judgment and demonstrated success working with private mortgage investors or lenders.

You should be comfortable explaining mortgage structures and investment risks, managing detailed follow-up, and building long-term relationships based on transparency and consistent service.

An active Ontario Mortgage Broker licence is strongly preferred. Experienced Mortgage Agent Level 2 candidates may be considered with appropriate broker supervision and sign-off.

Compensation

This is a 100% commission role, with no base salary or draw.

The commission schedule, assignment rules and production expectations will be reviewed during the interview process.
