We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Private Caregivers to provide personalized in-home care for a client with diverse needs. Prior experience in working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. This position is involves working closely with the client to deliver high-quality, respectful care tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Assistance preparing nutritious meals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with mobility exercises or transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
- Document care provided accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times
Skills
- Prior experience in home care settings preferred
- Solid patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Capable of meal preparation tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Experience working with individuals experiencing cognitive impairments is a plus
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules
