We are seeking a Skilled Production Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with general hand tools.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for working in the AC and DC motor winding department. The candidate will be trained for the position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRIMARY:

1. Confident in using general hand tools (screw drivers etc.)
2. Be open to learning new skills.
3. Assists in the training of other personnel as required.
4. Other duties assigned to the employee by the Production Supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Competent oral and written English; able to read and follow detailed instruction manuals

- Basic mathematical skills

- Valid Drivers License
- High school or equivalent technical experience
- Valuable manual strength and dexterity,



including ability to use hand tools such as pliers, cutters, hammers, calipers etc.
- Experience with High Pot, Megger and Growler testers considered an asset
- Experience with spot welding / brazing considered an asset
- Ability to cross-train to other Winding Class teams
- Strong interpersonal skills; trustworthy; reliable with time and attendance

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
