Infosys is hiring Structure Design Engineer

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in Canada.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Required Skills

Development, qualification, certification, and in-service support of A220 Family airframe components.

Drawing/modsum/EDRN creation, ICD/WPICD updates, and SWAP incorporation for A220 airframe components

A220 design RFC, PCR and Engineering investigation support.

Knowledge of Airbus Canada specifications and airworthiness requirements.

Knowledge of metallic and composite design principles.

Knowledge of Airbus processes and procedures relating to design.

Experience of using Airbus Supply (DocMaster, Airnavx etc.).

Ability to perform Design Validation (DV) and ensure Design Authority (DAA) requirements are met.

Experience in DMU reviews and multi partner environments.

Tools CATIAv5, Datalink, ICMS, eRoom, ERD, BNet, ENOVIA, HMS

Capability to provide engineering support for the A220 Family (A220-100 and A220-300).

Ability to manage modification processes through Decision Gates (DG) including Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR).

Collaborate closely with the offshore engineering team,



ensuring transparent technical communication, timely guidance, and smooth execution of deliverables.

Lead and support the structural design and development of components in accordance with Airbus processes, methods, and standards.

Solid understanding of aerospace design principles, airworthiness constraints, and manufacturing processes.

Review and validate design outputs such as 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bill Of Material to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Provide technical expertise on structures, materials, stress sizing, manufacturing considerations, and certification constraints.

Providing support to other general design activities, e.g. Process improvements, cost reduction etc.

Drive issue resolution by interfacing with cross functional teams (stress, manufacturing, quality, configuration management, etc.).

Ensure adherence to Airbus DMU, PLM, and configuration control processes.

Prepare and deliver design reviews (Maturity phases, PDR, CDR, DFM).

Manage engineering data, documentation, and deliverables in compliance with quality and configuration requirements.

Support digital continuity initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in design and communication processes.

Required Qualifications (Non-negotiable Requirements)



BE / BTECH/MTECH/MS or equivalent degree (Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering)

5–10 years of hands on experience in aerospace structural design.

Support pour les RFC, PCR et enquêtes d’ingénierie sur la conception A220.

Connaissance des spécifications d’Airbus Canada et des exigences de navigabilité.

Connaissance des principes de conception métalliques et composites.

Connaissance des procédés et procédures Airbus liés à la conception.

Expérience avec Airbus Supply (DocMaster, AirnavX, etc.).

Capacité à effectuer la Validation de C
