Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves educating and guiding children in their early developmental stages, ensuring their safety, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

A successful Early Childhood Teacher will be able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues while demonstrating robust leadership skills.

Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that engage children in learning activities.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Follow the Christian Curriculum and create plans that align with the ATCD mission and Vision
- Foster positive relationships with students by understanding their individual needs and interests.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Lead classroom activities that promote teamwork and cooperation among students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.




- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and childcare standards.

Experience

- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required
- Must be in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Experience working in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide young learners effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities within the classroom.
- Clear understanding of ELECT and How Does Learning Happen
- Ability to write clear reports and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development.
