Duties
- Perform customized massage therapy sessions based on client needs and preferences
- Assess clients’ physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and post-treatment recommendations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
- Stay current with industry best practices, techniques, and continuing education requirements
- Promote wellness services to clients and assist with appointment scheduling as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming and supportive environment for clients
- Strong communication skills for effectively explaining treatments, listening to client concerns, and providing guidance
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping clients improve their health and relaxation goals
