Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their needs and develop tailored massage plans
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments using various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage
- Maintain explicit communication with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure comfort and satisfaction
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate wellness practices
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in all treatment areas
- Keep detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience and promote overall clinic wellness
Requirements
- Valid registration and licensing as a Massage Therapist in accordance with local regulations
- Professional Liability insurance
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect authentically with clients
- Explicit communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client questions effectively
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required
- Certification or training in various massage techniques is advantageous
