About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in SaaS solutions, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Project Manager to oversee their software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving critical product development initiatives. You will be responsible for guiding development teams, ensuring efficient project execution, and delivering high-quality software products that meet market demands and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software development processes, solid leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to manage complex projects in a remote, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple software development projects from inception through to deployment and maintenance. Define project scope, objectives, technical requirements, and success criteria in collaboration with product managers and engineering leads. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.

Guide and mentor software development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Oversee the entire SDLC, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes. Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.

Implement and refine agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to optimize development workflow. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving technical and logistical challenges. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among distributed team members.





Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases that meet business objectives.

Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 7 years dedicated to software development projects. Proven experience in leading and managing complex, large-scale software development initiatives. Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including various methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall). Strong technical background with the ability to understand software architecture, coding principles, and testing strategies. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, especially in managing remote teams. Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Git. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is an advantage. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture is desirable. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Proven ability to manage projects effectively in a fully remote work environment.
