Role Overview

Visvacare is looking for reliable and compassionate Resident Care Workers (RCWs) to support our residents with daily routines, medication management, and overall well-being. This role requires solid attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide medication support: safely store medications, give them to residents, and document accurately on MAR sheets
- Take, record, and monitor vital signs
- Monitor resident behaviour and health, and report any changes to management
- Complete incident reports as needed and communicate all incidents to management
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, including cleaning and laundry as needed
- Support residents in reaching their personal goals
- Facilitate a monthly resident workshop
- Coordinate and schedule client appointments
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation




- Communicate clearly with team members during shift handovers
- Keep the med room, dining area, and common spaces clean and organized
- Clean and monitor high-risk client rooms daily
- Set up rooms for new move-ins and potential client showings

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in supportive housing, healthcare, or social services is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, especially with documentation and medication tracking
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow structure and routines
- Calm, professional, and respectful when working with vulnerable populations
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
