The Essence of Colour Inc. is a locally operated Benjamin Moore retailer in Brampton, Ontario, proudly helping homeowners, contractors, and designers find the right products for their projects. We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in paint, interior design, or home improvement, and wants to develop valuable product knowledge and sales skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Whether you're helping a homeowner choose the perfect wall colour, assisting a professional contractor with their paint needs, or learning the ins and outs of premium coatings, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do:

- Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming customers, answering questions, and ensuring every customer feels valued and supported.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products for both residential and commercial projects.
- Assist with colour and wallpaper selections, helping customers explore options and find the right finishes for their spaces.
- Learn and educate customers about Benjamin Moore paints, primers, stains, specialty coatings, and related products.
- Tint and prepare paint orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate a computer-based point-of-sale (POS) system to process purchases and transactions.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure the store runs smoothly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable store, including product displays and shelves.
- Receive shipments, stock merchandise, and maintain inventory to ensure products are readily available.
- Assist with ordering paint and sundry products as needed.
- Handle and move products such as paint gallons, pails, and sundries,



with the ability to lift approximately 10–50 lbs as required.
