Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance products.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately.
- Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and appeal.
- Provide expert advice on gardening techniques, plant care, landscape maintenance, and e-commerce options to support customer decisions.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and organizing merchandise to ensure a tidy shopping environment.




- Support customers with cashiering duties, including processing returns, exchanges, and managing cash register operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate store activities and deliver exceptional customer service.

Skills

- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong knowledge of gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, and merchandising principles.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashiering roles preferred.
- Organizational skills to manage inventory, stock displays, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online product inquiries or orders is beneficial.
