In this energetic role, you will assist customers in finding the perfect products, provide expert advice to the Pet Parents and ensure the store remains inviting and well-organized. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and offer personalized assistance to meet their pets needs.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising strategies to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide knowledgeable advice on Pet Food, Pet supplements, treats and accessories to enhance customer confidence
- Assist customers with online orders and e-commerce inquiries to ensure seamless shopping experiences
- Manage cashier responsibilities accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise,
and conducting stock counts
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate store activities and improve overall store performance.
Requirements
- MUST have PET RETAIL EXPERIENCE.
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments; familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English;
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to stand on ladder
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital sales processes is advantageous
