Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized and inviting retail environment. Duties

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product selection and answering inquiries both in-store and via phone communication.
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately.
- Engage in merchandising activities to ensure displays are attractive, well-organized, and aligned with store standards.
- Identify various plants and horticultural products to educate customers and support their purchasing decisions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space, including outdoor areas when applicable.
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves and tracking product availability.
- Assist with outdoor work tasks related to plant care, landscaping,



or garden center maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.

Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience preferred, particularly related to horticulture or landscaping.
- Strong knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and horticultural products is advantageous.
- Experience with merchandising and organizing retail displays.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing sales transactions.
- Excellent phone communication skills for customer inquiries and support.
- Robust organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work outdoors comfortably in various weather conditions.
- Customer-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
