The UPS Store (Bridgeport n Weber St) is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Store Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional customer service, managing daily retail operations, and ensuring client expectations are met with care and efficiency.

We are looking for someone willing to commit long-term contract who can reliably commute or relocate to Waterloo / KWC region

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Customer Service & Communication: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in-store walk-ins with a welcoming attitude and strong phone etiquette.
- Product & Service Expertise: Provide accurate information about products and services, analyze customer needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Store Operations & Transactions: Handle shipping, tracking, returns, passport photos, and printing services while maintaining accurate records and data entry.
- Active Sales & Upselling: Proactively upsell additional products and services when appropriate, such as upgrading shipments to express or suggesting large print quantities.
- Package Handling: Comfortably handle packages up to 20 lbs on a regular basis, and lift/move packages up to 40 lbs when needed.




- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to resolve complex issues efficiently and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Customer service or retail sales experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in fluent English.
- Organization & Detail: Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
- Education: High School Diploma required.

Schedule & Hours

- Job Type: Full-time (20.0 – 40.0 hours per week)
- Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 9AM – 6:30 PM (availability to work from 8:45 AM – 7:00 PM required hours in between)
- Saturdays: Alternating Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (availability to work from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM required)
- On-Call Shifts: Possibility of on-call extra hours/shifts during store hours (Mon–Sat, 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM). These are common but not guaranteed.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 45.0 per week
