Job Title: Part-Time Site Safety Coordinator / Safety Officer

Location: Calgary, Alberta (On-site)

Job Type: Part-time / Contract (1099 or equivalent)

Pay: $45/hour CAD

Schedule: Flexible / as needed for job setups and ongoing support

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Part time Site Safety Coordinator to support our projects in the Calgary area. This role focuses on job setup at the start of work, collecting and managing required safety paperwork, and enforcing safety standards on site.

We use Site Docs for our safety documentation and expect the right person to be comfortable (or quickly become comfortable) working within the platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with job setup at the beginning of projects (orientations, site-specific paperwork, initial safety requirements)
- Collect, review, and organize required safety documents and records
- Enforce company and site safety rules and expectations with crews
- Support day-to-day safety compliance using Site Docs (forms, inspections, documentation)
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure paperwork and safety items are completed correctly and on time
- Help maintain accurate records and follow-ups

Requirements





- Experience in construction or field safety (site safety, safety coordination, or similar)
- Comfortable collecting paperwork and following up on compliance
- Ability to enforce rules professionally and consistently
- Familiarity with Site Docs is a strong asset (or willingness to learn it quickly)
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on active job sites in the Calgary area
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- OSHA 30, COR, or equivalent safety training preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong

Nice to Have

- Previous use of Site Docs or similar safety software
- First Aid / CPR
- Experience with Alberta OHS requirements
