Cashier/Sales Associates are the face of our company. They are the last staff to greet and interact with the public. Our Cashier/Sales Associates provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and answering questions regarding the store and its merchandise. We require friendly, outgoing individuals who can operate a point of sale system with minimal training and maintain knowledge of current sales promotions.

Cashier/Sales Associates need to be able to follow established policies and procedures and be able to adjust work speed to meet customer demand. The ability to work as a team player and follow the direction of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor is critical.

A neat and well-groomed appearance and the ability to interact well with others are essential.

Sales Associates are responsible for ensuring shelves are fully stocked and merchandised following the direction of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor.





Cashier/Sales Associates must have the physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures, which entails heavy lifting. They are also responsible for ensuring the proper removal of garbage from the sales floor and cash area.

Sales Associates must work in tandem with all staff to coordinate the smooth movement of goods and have the ability to work in a quick-paced environment while paying attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.35 per hour

Work days

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bay Roberts, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- cashier: 1 year (preferred)
- retail: 1 year (preferred)
