We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. Bilingual skills and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, providing expert advice when necessary
- Handle POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure the store remains clean and welcoming
- Utilize communication skills effectively to engage with diverse customers, including bilingual interactions if applicable
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills is advantageous
- Experience with product demos, merchandising, and upselling techniques is a plus
- Bilingual abilities (English plus another language) are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
- Strong organizational skills, time management, phone etiquette, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.60-$28.17 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
