The Sales
Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment while driving sales through upselling and merchandising strategies.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Educate customers about features and benefits
- Handle POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customer attention
- Upsell products and accessories to meet customer needs and maximize sales opportunities
- Assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Utilize solid phone etiquette when engaging with customers over the phone .
Requirements
- Available to work days, evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Previous experience in retail sales, or customer service preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock replenishment
- Basic math for cash handling, POS operations, and transaction accuracy
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, weekends or evenings if required
