The Role

As a Sales Associate, you will be a key part of creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will represent the Steve Madden brand, build genuine customer connections, drive sales, and help maintain a stylish and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and engage every customer with confidence, energy, and a friendly attitude.
- Provide personalized customer service and assist customers in finding the perfect footwear and accessories.
- Build solid customer relationships and create an elevated shopping experience.
- Develop strong knowledge of Steve Madden products, trends, promotions, and collections.
- Use effective selling techniques to achieve individual and store sales goals.
- Stay motivated by key performance indicators and sales targets.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash responsibly and follow all company cash-handling procedures.
- Support visual merchandising, floor sets, and maintaining Steve Madden brand standards.
- Receive, process, organize, and replenish merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready sales floor and stockroom.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and loss-prevention standards.




- Work collaboratively with the management and sales team to achieve store goals.
- Support other store operations and special projects as required.

- Previous fashion or footwear experience is an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move merchandise and boxes.
- Ability to safely use a ladder when required.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
