Seasonal Design & Gardening Assistant The Wreath Coach – Custom Seasonal Planters & Holiday Decorating
Contract • Part-time/Seasonal • Flexible Schedule
About Us The Wreath Coach creates beautiful, custom planters and holiday décor for homes and businesses throughout the year. From lush summer planters to festive winter installations, we bring each season to life. We’re a small, creative business that thrives on collaboration, attention to detail, and a good laugh — even during the busiest days.
We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Seasonal Design & Gardening Assistant to help us expand our reach and bring our clients even more joy through our work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Every season brings new projects! Tasks vary, but may include:
- Onsite installation assistance: helping create and install custom planters (filling pots with soil, organizing materials, trimming branches, cleanup during and after jobs).
- Seasonal decorating: installing garlands, wreaths, and décor during the Christmas season.
- Client visits: emptying or preparing planters prior to installation days (some solo work).
- Wholesale pickups: collecting plants and materials during busy periods.
- Independent projects: potential to take on smaller installs on your own (optional).
- Interior holiday decorating: assisting with tree setup, fluffing, decorating, garland installs, and post-season teardown.
- Deliveries: dropping off pre-made planters, client gifts, or materials.
Who We’re Looking For You don’t need to be a master gardener or designer — we can teach you! We’re looking for someone who is:
- Punctual, reliable, and great with time management
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks or projects
- Creative and willing to learn design and plant styling techniques
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Physically able to lift materials and work on your feet
- A team player with a positive attitude who enjoys a fun, lighthearted environment
Plant knowledge and design experience are a plus — but attitude, energy, and reliability are what matter most.
