About the Position

Bergo Designs, Bergo Kids & Collectables, and Corktown Designs are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Seasonal Retail Associates to join our teams for the busy Winter Village season!

This is a fast-paced, hands-on retail position that is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in busy environments, and loves the energy of the holiday season. Our winter market locations see significant customer traffic, so we are looking for reliable, energetic individuals who can help create a welcoming, enjoyable shopping experience for every customer.

Positions are available immediately, with employment expected to continue through mid-December and the possibility of extending into the first couple of weeks of January, depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, attentive, and enthusiastic customer service on the sales floor.
- Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and making purchases.
- Retrieve merchandise from backstock and replenish displays, shelves, and fixtures as needed.
- Maintain organized, well-stocked, and presentable sales areas throughout the day.
- Work regular shifts at the store entrances, monitoring foot traffic and helping manage customer flow.
- Assist with crowd management to help maintain a protected, organized,



and enjoyable shopping workplace.
- Remain attentive to customer needs and help ensure all visitors have a positive experience.
- Work collaboratively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Stay productive and professional during busy periods and throughout the full shift.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, energetic, and comfortable working in a busy retail environment. We are looking for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and can maintain a positive attitude even during the busiest times of the holiday season.

Preferred qualifications and qualities:

- Previous experience in a busy retail environment, customer service role, or crowd-facing position.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of enthusiasm and a genuine enjoyment of the holiday season.
- The ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional in crowded, fast-paced situations.
- Comfort with monitoring entrances, directing customer flow, and assisting with crowd management.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.




- Flexibility to work a part-time schedule of approximately 16–32 hours per week.

Important Working Conditions Please note: This position involves working in an environment where entrance doors remain open throughout operating hours. Temperatures can become quite cold, particularly during the winter months. Candidates must be comfortable working in cooler conditions and should be prepared to dress appropriately for the weather.

The role also involves extended periods of standing and walking, assisting customers, restocking merchandise, and spending time at the entrances.

Compensation & Schedule

- Minimum wage, paid on a bi-weekly schedule.
- Part-time hours ranging from approximately 16 to 32 hours per week.
