Be a catalyst for positive change as the Youth and Family Engagement Leader at Foundry Quesnel. This casual role focuses on building robust relationships with youth and their families, guiding program development and engagement strategies. At Foundry Quesnel, the Youth and Family Engagement Leader works directly with community stakeholders to empower young individuals and their families. You will facilitate Youth and Family Advisory Committees while enhancing the community's understanding of youth engagement needs. This position is ideal for those passionate about mental wellness, cultural safety, and community service.

Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate Youth and Family Advisory Committees
• Build rapport with at-risk youth and families




• Develop and deliver public presentations
• Write reports and support policy development
• Collaborate with community events and stakeholders

Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• One year experience with youth and families
• Lived experience in mental health or substance use
• Strong understanding of EDIB principles
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License preferred Leverage your skills to transform youth care access and community engagement with YMCA BC.
