The Department of Jewish Studies is searching for eligible candidates as a Teaching Assistant for the Winter 2027 term.

Applicants must be students registered in a McGill MA or PhD graduate program in the Winter 2027 term.

- Verify Minerva that any TA positions you plan to register for in Winter 2027 don't conflict with your own courses.
- Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person and attend all the lectures.
- Postings are considered tentative pending the final determination of course offerings and enrolments.
- Due to insufficient enrolment in courses, not all courses posted may require a TA.

Position Summary:

- hosting and facilitating discussions on Zoom with small groups of students
- grading exams and term papers
- attending lectures and reading course materials
- communicating with students regarding myCourses
- submitting assignments, etc.

Qualifications:

Positions are only available to McGill graduate students with an appropriate academic background. Previous study in the subject of the course.
