What your day-to-day will look like

- Manufacture, sharpen, resharpen, repair and modify all kinds of cutting tools using CNC machines
- Consult cutting tool drawings and sketches
- Prepare tools, dress grinding wheels manually or using a CNC machine, perform setup
- Operate one or more machines simultaneously
- Inspect cutting tools using comparators and automated inspection machines
- Participate in the development of recent processes
- Perform mathematical calculations, including using trigonometry
- Wash, pack, identify and move parts while ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
- Keep equipment and workstations in good condition
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment (oil levels,



filter status)
- Work in a team and demonstrate a high degree of autonomy

What you need to succeed

- Holder of a DCS (DEP) in Machining Techniques with ASP in Machining on Numerical Control Machine Tools
- Ability to work well in a team
- Initiative and leadership
- Manual dexterity
- Analytical mindset
- This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may originate from international organizations

Assets

- Experience in the machining field
- Experience in cutting tool sharpening (an asset)
