Located in Dauphin, Manitoba, our client sites serve as vital hubs within the local community. Working as a Security Guard here means serving as a approachable, vigilant presence focused on maintaining safety, supporting daily operations, and helping members of the public feel secure.

Position Overview

Title: Security Guard Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time

Schedule: Flexible availability required, including mornings, evenings, and overnights

What You'll Be Doing

- Conducting regular interior and exterior foot patrols to secure property and deter safety risks.
- Greeting visitors, managing access control, and answering general inquiries with excellent customer service.
- Monitoring site activities, safety equipment, and potential hazards.
- Responding promptly to alarm calls, safety concerns, and emergency situations.
- Completing clear, accurate daily logs and detailed incident reports.

Must Haves

- Valid Manitoba Security Guard License (or ability to obtain one before starting).
- Flexible availability to work shifts
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Comfort standing and walking for extended periods during patrols.
- A professional approach to handling challenging or unexpected situations calmly.

Nice-to-Haves

- Standard First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Prior experience in customer service, security, or community safety roles.
