Duties
- Control access to the facility by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Perform loss prevention measures by inspecting for suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for reporting and record-keeping purposes.
- Conduct routine patrols of the property to identify hazards, ensure safety protocols are followed, and deter unauthorized access.
- Assist in training new security team members on surveillance procedures and security protocols.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV system operation.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and methods to deter theft or vandalism.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations with calm professionalism.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities.
- Basic understanding of security laws and regulations relevant to the role.
