We are a family in Barrie seeking a caring, dependable and experienced live-out nanny to join our household starting in January 2027. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, is organized and proactive, and can help create a safe, nurturing and well-organized home environment for our three children (ages 1 yr, 5 yr and 7 yr) and family dog. We would like to find someone who encourages creative thinking, hands-on play, and outdoor exploration, while supporting our children in their development of appropriate social skills and emotional regulation. $48,000 CAD (approximately $23/hour; negotiable based on experience) Vacation: Two weeks per year Paid sick leave: Three paid sick days per year

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Childcare
• Provide attentive, nurturing and age-appropriate care for one infant (approximately 1 year old when the position begins), and two school-aged children, ages 5 and 7, before and after school, as well as on sick days and PA days
• Transport older children to and from school; may be responsible for transportation to after-school activities (appropriate car seats will be provided by the family)
• Support daily routines, activities, meals and the children's overall well-being.
• Maintain a safe,



clean and engaging setting for the children. Light Housekeeping
• Prepare lunches and snacks and assist with meal preparation.
• Complete children's laundry and change children's bedding.
• Maintain general tidiness of common areas and children's spaces.
• Additional housekeeping as required by family Family Dog Care
• Provide daytime care, walk and attention for the family dog (8-year-old miniature Goldendoodle).

REQUIREMENTS:
• A valid driver's license, access to a reliable personal vehicle and valid vehicle insurance are required.
• A current criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening is required.
• Basic first aid certification would be beneficial
• Three references are required
