At Café & Life Co., we bring together thoughtfully crafted drinks, delicious brunch, and warm hospitality. We’re looking for an experienced, versatile Senior Barista who enjoys creating drinks and making guests feel welcome.

This hands-on position rotates between Bar Captain and Floor Captain responsibilities. You should feel equally comfortable leading the bar and keeping service running smoothly on the floor.

Your role:

- Prepare consistently excellent espresso, matcha, and specialty drinks with confident latte art skills.
- Develop and test creative seasonal drinks, balancing flavour, presentation, and workflow.
- As Bar Captain, take orders, manage drink production, and maintain bar quality, cleanliness, and organization.
- As Floor Captain, welcome and seat guests, run food and drinks, transparent tables, and oversee the guest experience.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and floor team, especially during busy brunch service.
- Support and coach teammates,



setting a positive example through your work.
- Keep service areas clean, stocked, and ready, including completing hourly washroom checks when assigned to the floor.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

- Strong experience in a busy café, with reliable espresso, milk-texturing, and latte art skills.
- Experience developing drinks and an interest in exploring new flavours.
- A natural sense of hospitality and attention to guests’ needs.
- The ability to stay calm, organized, and proactive under pressure.
- A flexible, team-first attitude and willingness to share both bar and floor duties.
- Availability for weekends and peak service periods.
