Help Shape Health Equity in Hamilton: Join Our Board Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre is seeking a passionate, community-minded individual to join our volunteer Board of Directors. For more than 30 years, Hamilton Urban Core has worked to address health inequities in Hamilton’s inner city. We provide accessible, inclusive and culturally relevant primary health care, community health and harm reduction services for people who face barriers including poverty, racism, discrimination and homelessness. We are looking for an applicant who shares our commitment to health equity, social justice and community-based care—and who is ready to help advance the health and well-being of Black, racialized and other marginalized communities. A strong commitment to confronting anti-Black racism in health care and beyond is essential. As a Board member,
