Technologies is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to manage the Canadian trade compliance program. This role involves maintaining records in accordance with the Customs Act and other regulations, and collaborating with various business units. The successful candidate will ensure accurate declarations and enhance compliance through procedure development and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate Canadian HS classifications and customs valuation records
- Review import/export documents and instruct customs brokers
- Monitor transactions for classification,
origin, and admissibility
- Conduct post-entry audits and implement necessary adjustments
- Support verifications and audits from Global Affairs Canada and CBSA Requirements:
- Degree in relevant field; CCS designation preferred
- 3+ years of customs compliance experience
- Knowledge of EIPA, customs valuation, and free trade agreements
- Robust problem-solving and communication skills
