Ottawa, Canada Employment Type: 9 to 12 Months contract Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Data Engineer with strong Databricks expertise to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Work with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Auto Loader, DLT, and Databricks Workflows.
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Optimize Spark performance, clusters, and data processing.
• Support cloud data migration, data governance, and CI/CD deployments. Required Skills
• Solid hands-on experience in Databricks, PySpark, Python, and Advanced SQL.
• Experience with Delta Lake, data pipelines, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and data engineering best practices.
