The Server will be responsible for providing consistently high-levels of customer service to all restaurant patrons by providing prompt service, taking accurate orders, and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials. The Server shall perform these customer service duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times, and ensure that the patron has an enjoyable dining experience. Other responsibilities will include the proper setting of tables, removing used dishes and place settings, assisting with cleaning duties, and comply with all restaurant policies and procedures.

Key Job Responsibilities:

· Maximize guest service by providing productive and courteous customer service to our guests based upon our Food & Beverage Service Standards.

· Take pride in providing other value-added services to guests by introducing products, promotions or up selling opportunities.

· Maintain familiarity with the composition of all menu items.

· Be knowledgeable and confident in selling menu, product and services

· Maximizes effectiveness by being detailed orientated and prioritizing.

· Ensures quality checks are conducted on deliveries, and tray pick ups arranged and conducted.

· Clean and refill condiment trays, perishables and coolers to ensure consistent supply.

· Prepare coffee and alcoholic beverages to laid-down standards

· Follows Food & Beverage and cash handling policies at all times. Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer.

· At all times to be aware of and practice good customer relations,



assisting the guest in any way which does not adversely affect other customers.

· Attend to customer complaints satisfactorily.

· Creates a supportive and positive relationship with all team members to foster and promote a cooperative, productive and service driven working environment

· At all times projects a positive image of the Saskatoon Inn

· Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress.

Requirements

- Takes pride in providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

- Previous Food and Beverage service experience an asset.
- Have an extremely friendly and positive disposition with the ability to establish relationships with guests and associates.
- The ability to listen attentively to guest needs in order to facilitate requests.
- Is reliable, dependable and disciplined; can be trusted and see tasks through to completion.
- Ability to perform physical work and lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends.

Serve it Right Certification . A good command of English language is desirable.

Work Conditions: · Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer.

· Lifting or moving up to 25 lbs may be required.
