Duties

- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and dietary options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular dishes or beverages.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like processing payments and giving change.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations to ensure a welcoming environment.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly, demonstrating excellent time management skills.

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and billing accuracy.
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive guest services.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
