Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any issues professionally

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for order entry and cash handling accurately
- Experience with serving, upselling, and hospitality best practices is advantageous
- Prior kitchen or food preparation experience is beneficial but not mandatory
